Perhaps the most legendary name in NASCAR, Dale Earnhardt, died in a horrific crash on February 18, 2001 on the last lap of the 2001 Daytona 500. This was the same race that he won in 1998. Since that time, Dale Earnhardt merchandise has popped up everywhere, from corner stores to large department stores, with the legendary #3 and Dale Earnhardt's signature.
