Diecast Saleen

Saleen is a company that produces vehicles into high performance cars and has also built their own vehicle.  For many years they were only able to build a few cars each year due to financing challenges, but in the 1990's the company was given a significant investment and production was increased. Most notably, Saleen has modified Ford F-150's as well as numerous Ford Mustangs.  They have also built a Supercar called the Saleen S7.

The Saleen S7 is an incredible car whose performance is rivaled by only a handful of exotic cars.  The first generation S7 included a 550hp V8 engine but was replaced by a twin-turbo V8 in 2005 which produces a whopping 7650hp.  The top speed of the Saleen S7 is said to be 402km/h, putting it in the same ranks as the Bugatti Veyron and the McLaren F1.  The selling price for the Saleen S7 was over $500,000.
